— Use this table to determine your BMI —
You'll need recent height and weight measurements to calculate your BMI.
The vast majority of people do not take these measurements on a regular basis.
However, as we age, our weight and height change.
So, if it's been more than a month since your last measurement, take your height and weight before calculating your BMI. Otherwise, your BMI may be incorrect.
When you have all of your measurements, follow these steps and use the table to determine your BMI:
Locate your height on the left side of the table and move down the row to the right.
Locate your weight at the top of the table and move down that column until you reach the row for your height.
Your BMI is the number that corresponds to your height and weight, and the colours represent different BMI classifications.
Bonus tip: Find the corresponding weights for the first and last green numbers in your height row. This will provide you with your normal weight range.
